Health psychology has various trends, including clinical health psychology. In clinical health psychology, a wide range of processes are used, including evaluation, diagnostic consultation with the health care team, as well as various approaches and techniques of psychotherapy in promoting the health and context of physical illness. Clinical health psychologists, skilled in research methods, address research-based evidence in the application of necessary interventions. The Journal of Clinical Health Psychology
has been published quarterly by the Iranian Psychological Association since 2019 with the aim of increasing knowledge and research evidence for health psychologists. The mission of this journal is to develop the science of clinical health psychology in theoretical and practical aspects. Articles can be published in Persian and English. Original research articles are a priority for publication. In order to maintain the principles of publishing ethics, peer-to-peer software is used in the judging process.
