The Type D Scale-14 (DS14) and Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index ( PSQI) were used to collect data. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, and Tukey’s test ( Tukey HSD) to figure out differences between two sets of variables. The results showed that there was a significant difference between Type D personality and sleep quality of Patients with MS and cardiac diseases and normal individuals )P≤0.01). There was no significant difference between Type D personality and sleep quality of MS patients and Cardiovascular patients( P≤0.01). Based on the obtained results patients with MS and cardiovascular diseases experience more sleeping problems and problems related to Type D personality than normal people.
